This isn’t good for an eBike battery, it turned out, and so a few things needed to be done to get it back on the road. The BMS (again, Battery Management System) of a battery pack is the part that regulates both input (charging) and output (discharge) voltage and current from the cells.
Our team removed the weak cells, installed compatible replacements, reprogrammed the BMS firmwar e, and rebalanced each pack. Within one week, all battery packs were restored to full functionality.
Connecting the BMS: B- Terminal: Connect to the main negative (-) terminal of the battery pack. B+ Terminal: Often already connected internally; check your BMS specifications. B1 (or B0): Connect to the most negative point (first cell's negative terminal). B2, B3,: Connect sequentially to the positive terminals of each cell in series.
